Shopping List for this month

Thanks to everyone who contributed to make 2016 such a successfully year. At the moment we have a particular need for the following food stocks;

  • Cereals
  • Long Life Milk
  • Dried Rice
  • Fruit [tinned]
  • Custards
  • Jars of Pasta Sauce

If you are able to donate any of these items please go to the Collection Points page on our website where you will find a list of contacts who will accept the donations on behalf of the Foodbank

So many people to thank ….

Our last food parcels for 2015 have been delivered and as from from tomorrow [Monday 4th January] it will be business as usual for 2016.  A big thank you to all those who gave so generously to the Food bank this past year. Without all your donations of Food and finance none of our work to  support those in need would have been possible.

But our thanks also extend to those who have made such an important contribution by generously giving their precious time, energy and skills as members of the Food bank team. Again without your involvement none of our work would be possible

Again – THANKS TO ONE AND ALL and a happy New Year!!!!!

Some say Peter’s off his Trolley

…. but not our Peter thanks be to  Sainsburys in Stobhill who recently donated £100 worth of items to the Food bank Sainsburys

Peter who volunteers with us was challenged to fill a trolley with much needed items.

David the store manager also threw in some tubs of Quality Streets for all the volunteers.
Thanks Sainsbury
