How you can help

Food poverty continues to be a significant challenge for so many in our community and more than ever they need our help.

We are acutely aware that the work of the food bank can only continue with the generous support of local people and businesses.

Here are some ways you can help us help those who are hungry today.

Harvest Celebrations

Last year local schools, churches and organisations donated in excess of two tons of food and groceries through their Harvest collections. This magnificent effort made such a difference to so many in our community.

Sadly, food poverty is an unwelcome reality in Northumberland but with your continuing generosity we can make a real and vital difference to those in this situation.

If you think you can help by organising a Harvest Event, then we would be glad to hear from you. Please contact us if you need further information or assistance to get Harvesting!

Individual Food Donations

If you are able to donate nonperishable food items or money to the project please drop them into our Warehouse during office hours at  Northgate Hospital
