Wansbeck Valley Food Bank are now the proud owners of a new Ford Transit van generously, part funded by The Joicey Trust, a local charity benefactor.

This new addition to our fleet replaces two older vehicles, ensuring that the Food Bank can continue its vital work with greater reliability and lower running costs.

This upgrade means that the Food Bank can respond quickly and reliably to the needs of the community, ensuring that no one goes hungry.

A larger van will also enable the food bank to save on food costs by allowing bulk purchases from local suppliers and will be vital for larger collections of food during the busy periods of Harvest Festival and Christmas.
